Since his election in 2012, Joe Petty has been a champion for environmental issues in Worcester. During his next term, he aims to make the city more climate-resilient by planting 1,000 new trees by 2026, fully implementing the city’s Urban Forestry Master Plan, and advancing the Green Worcester Plan’s sustainability goals.
