Why Vote
We need to combat climate change and protect our land, water, and public health. To do this we must elect environmental champions across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Elected officials at the state and local level can determine where your town’s energy comes from, recycling practices, funding for local parks, and more. Getting out the vote for climate champions builds political will for the bold policies we need.
Margins in state and local elections are frequently extremely narrow, at times determined by only a handful of votes. This reality underscores how critical individual participation is—every ballot can determine the outcome of a race. By casting your vote, you not only help ensure that environmental champions are elected, but you also demonstrate broad public support for the bold climate policies Massachusetts needs.
